Whaleback Golf Course



  • Book online to secure your preferred tee time. 
  • Successful online bookings will receive an automatic confirmation to the registered email address.
  • No further confirmation is required.
  • The internet booking system is directly linked to the reservation software, and customers will only be contacted if a Whaleback staff member has a query regarding the booking. If a confirmation email is not received, the customer must check that the email provided is correct. Check spam folders.   • On arrival at the course, you must check in at the pro shop a minimum of 15 minutes before your tee time
  • The customer is required as proof of booking to provide the reference number or the name of the person who made the booking, to the pro shop staff on arrival.


  • Whaleback reserves the right to alter tee times without notice due to circumstances outside of Whaleback’s control. (E.g. lightning, slow play, course renovations).
  • Bookings cannot be changed online. Changes can be made by calling the pro shop on (08) 9457 8999. If you cannot call, you can log a tee booking request at www.whalebackgolfcourse.com.au/contact together with a copy of the original confirmation email or reference number. If making a request online, please be aware that electronic submissions can take up to 48 hours to resolve and are not an effective way of communicating a same day change request or a change across a weekend or holiday period.
  • There is no guarantee that a change can be made to the requested date/time.
  • The new tee time and date will be communicated over the phone or in an electronic response through the Request-It system (if an online request was submitted).
  • Where changes cannot be processed immediately a Voucher will be issued.
  • Vouchers issued for changes to tee times are valid for 3-months.
  • Vouchers can be redeemed online by the customer they were issued to.
  • Whaleback reserves the right to refuse to issue a Voucher if the customer does not provide 48 hours’ notice.
  • The balance on a Voucher must be used in full before the Voucher expiry date.
  • Whaleback rules are consistent with the etiquette outlined by the R&A in the rules of golf and are monitored by golf operations staff. Whaleback reserves the right to remove customers from the course if these rules or Whaleback Local Rules as detailed on the back of the scorecard are not adhered to. 
  • All patrons utilising Whaleback Golf Course do so under the instruction of the golf operations staff. Failure to adhere to instructions may result in removal from the golf course.
  • If a customer is removed from the course, no refund or voucher will be given.
  • If you do not arrive or fail to register with the pro shop staff at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tee time, you may risk cancellation of your tee time and a Voucher will not be given.


  • Online bookings can be cancelled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
  • You must call the pro shop on (08) 9457 8999 to make a cancellation request.
  • If you have given us more than 48 hours’ notice from your booked tee time and a suitable alternate tee time cannot be found, you can cancel your tee booking and request a refund.
  • Refunds can only be made through the City of Canning’s refund process. We unfortunately cannot process refunds for online tee bookings through our EFTPOS terminal.
  • Cancellation requests with less than 48 hours’ notice will be re-scheduled at a mutually agreed time, or a Voucher issued.
  • If bookings are made for a group and a player does not show, no refund or Voucher will be given for the “no show” player.
  • Once you have contacted the pro shop, to process your request for a refund, you must complete the online form at www.whalebackgolfcourse.com.au/contact.
  • After completing the request online, refunds will be issued via EFT to your nominated bank account within 14 working days.
